International Fashion retailer Esprit recognised her talent and she went to work in Amsterdam. She returned to Britian in the role of Design and Marketing Manager for Salisburys, then the UK's largest retailer of travel goods and fashion accessories. In 1994 Shona moved to Shilton PLC as Senior Designer and Range Developer for Jane Shilton leather goods and in 1996 she set up her own studio.

She quickly attracted prestigious clients including Next, Debenhams, BHS, House of Fraser, Banana Republic, M&S and Dents PLC. Her work for the British Glove Association includes writing the brief for the annual student competition and judging the awards. The Easton brand, launched in 2002, reflects Shona's personal style, while work for prestigious clients continues.

Shona Easton, a successful established designer, set up Easton Design Studio in 1996 to design handbags and other related products for prestigious clients including Next, M&S and other leading high street retailers. The Studio's skilled and dedicated staff specialise in the designing of leather goods, including:

·  The Easton brand of bags, purses, scarves and belts

·  Leather and non-leather bags for contract customers

·  Small leather goods

·  Ranges of men's leather goods, luggage and sports bags

In 2002, the Easton label was launched  - a brand that focuses on stylish, beautifully designed and well-priced handbags.

In 2004, the company moved to larger premises with showroom and warehouse space and increased its workforce to encompass a marketing and public relations manager.

In 2005 Shona Easton opened her first retail outlet in Cranleigh, Surrey. The Easton Design Studio shop sells the complete range of Easton products as well as selected items from other UK brands including Osprey, Radley, Jane Shilton, Tula, Ollie & Nic, Ri2K, Billy Bag and Babette Wasserman. The shop also stocks some Italian handbags from Nannini, Cromia and Barbara Milano, designer umbrellas, jewellery, watches, scarves, luggage and mens accessories.
